Bristol learns to scream

3 months

Well folks....another month has gone by. Boy, I'm growing up fast. Here are my most recent stats from my 2 month appointment. Weight 9lbs, 12 oz (26%), Height 22 3/4 in. (72%). My parents can't believe all the changes I am going through. I just love watching their faces when I do something for the first time. It's hilarious! Like this week...I started making cooing noises and talking a little more. You would think my Mom & Dad thought I was a genius. They were so excited. Well anyway, I've been doing lots of new things lately. I have pretty much mastered rolling over to my side. Hopefully soon I will be able to make it over all the way. I also smile alot now. You can probably tell this from some of my pictures I am posting. I really enjoy looking at both my hands and my feet. They can do some pretty cool things! And last but not least, I started Daycare this last week cuz Mom had to go back to work. I know my parents weren't to thrilled about it but its actually not that bad. I've got to meet alot of new friends...including an older boy named Taylor who meets me at the door everytime I get there. Can't wait till I can't actually start playing with them. I'm 2 months old!

Hello all! Well, as you can see I'm turning into quite a young lady now. I'm 8 weeks old and finally starting to interact with Mom & Dad a little bit. My favorite new thing is smiling just because they get such a kick out of it. I really don't see what the big deal is, most of the time I'm just passing gas. Let's see, what else is new. I go to the doctor on Tuesday for my check-up. Not really looking forward to that one. Mom says I have to get some shots. My cousin Cole told me that if you act like they hurt really bad your parents will be super nice to you that day. I might give that one a try, maybe I'll get a extra bottle out of it or something. Oh, I almost forgot the biggest news. I am finally sleeping in the crib in my own room. Most nights I sleep all night long but sometimes I still wake up and want a bottle. Have to keep Mom and Dad on their toes you know! Well, I think that's it for now. Until next time....

Povondra Christmas

Okay, so I know it has been awhile since I last blogged but as you can see I have been a little busy meeting new friends and celebrating my first Christmas. I am almost 6 weeks old now and am experiencing lots of new things. I can hold my head up pretty well and I am still sleeping well at night. I have decided to test my parents a little bit and show my fussy side at times but so far they seem to be handling it well. My first Christmas was pretty good. Mom and I were stuck at home on Christmas Eve because of a "Christmas Blizzard" while Dad was hard at work at the fire station. On Christmas day, Grandma and Papa, Aunt Kelly & Uncle Danny, and Cole came over to our house to eat and open gifts. I got lots of toys, a new blanket, and some money. Daddy already took the money to put in a savings account for me. I guess there won't be any post-holiday shopping for me. Oh well, I don't really need anything. Mom, Dad, and me are going to visit Grandma & Grandpa Meeker and Aunt Katie & Uncle Kelly for New Year's Eve. It will be my first visit to Sioux Falls and Grandma can't wait to show me off to all of her friends. Well, I better get going. Have a lot of packing to do. Until next time...
